Biceps tear<\/h1>\n

The biceps extends from the shoulder to the elbow and allows us to move our elbow and shoulder joints. The bicep has strong tendons that attach muscle to bones. The bicep tendon can tear at the elbow or shoulder. Tearing can be partial or complete. <\/p>\n

Causes<\/b><\/p>\n

Accidents, trauma (such as falls) and sports injuries can cause a bicep tendon tear. In some situations, the bicep tendon can tear in the gym setting during a weights session. <\/p>\n

Symptoms<\/b><\/p>\n

Pain in the front of the arm is common. Loss of power of the biceps can also occur. Other symptoms include:<\/p>\n
