Cervical discogenic pain syndrome

Cervical discogenic pain used to describe pain caused by an intervertebral disc. There are many reasons this can occur and usually comes about by degenerative disc changes.

Symptoms

Discogenic pain is variable. Neck pain may be at rest or when loading the disc with activities. Pain may stay in the neck or radiate to different areas.
